Fall is Here

We recently visited the pumpkin patch to get our Halloween pumpkins. The first time we tried to go was on a weekend. Bad idea. The pumpkin patch was super crowded, to the point that they were using traffic directors and parking attendants. So we came home and tried again on a Tuesday. Much better! We used Jackson's new birthday wagon from Grandma Joanne and headed out into the pumpkin field. It was a sunny fall day and we had lots of fun! Here are some pics:

Then, last night we carved our pumpkins! Bailey carved a Peace sign in her pumpkin and a cute face in another. Steve helped Jackson carve a smiley face into his small pumpkin and I chose a spooky cat design for mine. Here are some pics from the festivities:

After we sorted through the seeds, we roasted them and have been enjoying snacking on them today. :) Tomorrow night is Halloween. Stay tuned for pics of our Chick and Bee.
