Bay's Graduation

Last night was the graduation ceremony for Bailey's 8th grade class! The ceremony was held at the high school where she will be going next year, Century High School:




After Bay got home from school yesterday, I took her over to her friend Jessica's so that she and all of her other friends could get ready together.

Unfortunately, Jackson has been running fever off and on for a couple of days, so Steve had to stay home with Jackson while I went to graduation alone.

I found a seat on the bleachers with the parents of the other 456 students in Bay's class and then the kids starting coming in. Bay looked really pretty in her new dress and shoes. Here is a pick of her sitting in her seat prior to graduation:






The ceremony was very well organized. The choir sang the Star Spangled Banner, the band played a couple of songs and then the awards were given out. Since I was there by myself, I only have video of Bay getting her completion certificate, but here are some pics taken afterwards:

After graduation, we went to Jessica's house for cake and celebrating. Here are a couple of pictures of Bay and her friends:

It was a great day and ceremony and Bailey is now a freshman...in High School! :) Congratulations Bay!
